A B O U T

Formed in 1993 Masquerade is one of the foremost vocal harmony groups in the UK.  Orignally called The Brigette Thomas Girls in Harmony, the group have travelled extensively bringing their wide ranging repertoire to  audiences throughout the UK and beyond.

The all-female ensemble, ranging in age from 20 years old to 55 years young, each share a special relationship and a strong bond both on and off the stage.  This shines through in their vibrant and enthralling interpretations of each musical genre.

Having completed 3 successful transatlantic tours, travelling widely through Canada and the United States, Masquerade entertains both young and old with their richly diverse perfornances of classical music, musical theatre and popular modern songs.  Masquerade has produced several highly successful recordings, including Free Spirit, played on BBC Radio.  Masquerade has performed on TV and Radio and regularly undertakes concerts to raise money for such charities as Action for Children, Prostate and Ovarian Cancer.

Their unique sound is created and developed by their hugely talented musical director, Brigette Thomas, herself a very successful

professional artist having performed on some of the world's greatest stages, including Covent Garden and The Royal Albert Hall.  Brigette inspires the group to vivid and passionate performances, bringing her very unique sound to audiences far and wide.

Masquerade's incredible versatility means the group can deliver such beautiful classics as Nella Fantasia, Panis Angelicus and Sleepytime Bach through contemporary standards such as Fly Me To The Moon and Fool On The Hill, to modern pop songs including Halo/Walking on Sunshine, Run and such Queen classics as Bohemian Rhapsody and We Will Rock You.
